I am the author of several cajun cook books and owner of Cajun Country Cards. A small greeting card company located in Sulphur, LA. About 20 miles west of Lake Charles, LA.
I also created a praying list ... cajunspray@aol.com ... and encourage anyone to request prayers. Our list is growing, but you do not have to get the daily notes to request prayers ... even over and over.
This is the first post in my new blog. I hope you all enjoy all of my notes.

Actually, my webmaster ... our beloved (late in life) son (Michael James) who was a true gift from GOD ... posted the first note, because I was off watching Sissy's old house come down ... so she can build the house of her dreams. All that time and for a few days now, MJ has been working ... and calling for hints ... and emailing for more 'what do you want here?' 'there?' ... and working some more. I am sitting here ... Praising our Sweet Jesus ... trying not to cry for joy ... and telling myself ... 'Awwwww, go ahead'. This is beyond my wildest dreams. I thank Jesus, first; MJ for all his work; and Mamma ... I do hope she is looking down ... because the oil lease money made this possible. Merci to all three ... and I love all three ... in that order. Je t'aime and ... DIEU TE BENISSE!!! GOD BLESS!!! Me
lsk49rs is a lovely epal of mine and we all call each other Sissy on the spiritual discussion group we belong to. She is my inspiration for wanting to get some of my 'Jesus' thought out to the public. You can find her at ... http://journals.aol.com/lsk49rs/CatholicThoughts/entries/2007/10/13/when-a-catholic-faces-her-pain/1057 AND I hope you will. She has a lot of good things to say; although she often complains about her complaining ... and ... to me ... her 'love your neighbor Catholic/Christian heart' shows through each and every one of her blog writings. I love you toooo, Modesto Sissy. DIEU TE BENISSE! Cajun Sissy to all stjames group.
I am looking forward to many wonderful posts! You also have a beautiful site set up... makes me wonder if I should do something with my Blogger Account as well.
